A professional inspection is done before move-in — cleaners, maintenance, and painters inspect the apartments before move-in.

Yes, we have a 24/7 on-call emergency number and a professional Maintenace Technician on site Monday to Friday during office hours.

Any repairs or issues with your unit need to be placed online with the resident portal. Most work orders are handled within 24 hours of scheduling.

No, we do not require you to be present for the service request.

During office hours — contact office staff and they will assist you. Outside of office hours — there is a $150 charge to have someone come let you in (on-call person or emergency dispatch).

Yes, this is your home and we encourage you to make it enjoyable. Any modifications must be reverted back to original move-in stats upon your move-out date.

Amenities

Yes — we have a Surface parking lot and assigned Garage parking for an extra monthly fee ranging between $105 - $150.

We have 5 laundry rooms with one located on each floor. Each room is open 24/7 and has 2 washers and 2 dryers that are credit card operated. 

No, pets are not allowed. ESA/ Service Animals will need to meet with management to complete documents for approval from the corporate office.

Every kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, an electric stove, and microwave. 

Partial - for the bedroom furnishings, we offer an XL twin bed with frame, study desk, and wardrobe.

All apartments can be furnished if needed — ask for apartment availbility by calling or emailing the office.

We do not offer short term leases, but subleasing is allowed.

Our fitness center is open 24/7.

Our fitness center is equipped with a Matrix Aura Functional Trainer, Yoga Space, Treadmills, Elliptical and Free Weights.

If there are vacant units available, no appointment is needed. If not, an appointment must be made to give residents 24 hour notice before entering the apartment.

Management is very accessible! We are located near the front door.

You can apply through the Bierman Place website.

You can pay rent through the online portal or by check.

A resident portal is set up during the application process — residents log in and follow prompts of "make payment".

Yes, renter's insurance is required with residents' name, address at Bierman, and $100,000 liability present on the declarations page — if not provided, you are automatically enrolled in the Biermans Master Policy.

Water, Sewer, Trash, Internet, and Cable all come included with your rental.

Resident 1 from your unit will need to make an account with Xcel Energy.

Yes, residents who refer a qualifying applicant will receive a $150 rent credit upon that applicant's move in.

Yes, The METRO GREEN line that connects you from Downtown MPLS to Downtown Saint Paul and to the METRO Blue line is 0.6 miles away. While under 0.3 miles, you can find Bus lines for the 2,3,6,120,122 and 123.

Dinkytown is rated the 23rd most walkable neighborhood in Minneapolis with over 4,364 residents. Dinkytown has good public transportation and is considered a biker's paradise. With Target and the University of Minnesota within walking distance most everyday errands can be accomplished on foot.

Yes, the Greenway Bike Trail is a few blocks away, connecting you to Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Target is located just 1 block away! While you can also find yourself in the heart of Dinkytown less than a mile away.

Arvonne Fraser Library is open Monday to Sunday and is only 3 blocks away. This library is a great space for all offering study and meeting rooms, no late fees, limited free printing and copying, ebooks, free Wi-Fi and downloadable audiobooks.
